In Hyderabad, a meeting of the Telangana cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Rao, it was decided to put a lockdown in the state for 10 days from May 12. During this period, from 6 to 10 am, the common people have been given permission to purchase essential goods and to do other important work. Agricultural works are exempted from lockdown. After reviewing the situation on May 20, a decision will be taken to increase the lockdown.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, in a meeting with the core group formed on Corona, decided to extend the night curfew in 36 cities and other strict restrictions by May 18. Curfew has been imposed in these cities including Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot and Vadodara from 8 am to 6 am. It is only allowed to open drug, milk, vegetable and grocery stores during the day time.
At the same time, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa tweeted that in view of the problems faced by the poor, laborers and migrant workers due to restrictions like lockdown, it has been decided to give them free food for three times daily in the government-run Indira Canteen. .
