Amid of rapid surge of corona virus cases across the country, the ‘Panchmukhi Doli’ yatra of Kedarnath, Uttarakhand was taken out on this Friday.
This Panchmukhi doli yatra was taken out from Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath towards Kedarnath Dham.
It is to be noted that due to rapid increase of the coronavirus cases across the country this yatra was taken out without a massive gatherings.
Very few peoples were present during the yatra like Rawal Bhimashankar Linga, priest Bagesh Linga, Kedarnath Devasthanam Board’s Additional Chief Executive Officer B.D. Singh, official NP Jamloki, Panchmukhi Doli in-charge Yaduvir Pushpwan, and administration officials.
As per the officials of Kedarnath Devasthanam board the doors of Kedarnath Dham would open at 5 a.m. on May 17.
It should also be noted that all the persons those are going to attended the panchmukhi doli, their vaccination as well as sampling has already been done by the officials.
In fact due to this pandemic situation the yatra will be on carried on chariot rather than on foot yatra.
Nevertheless, many shiva-divotee really gonna miss this yatra this year due to pandemic situation.
