AirAsia India offers free of cost booking and rescheduling of flights to or from these destinations after Delhi, West Bengal, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra extended the lockdown or strict restrictions. This information was given in a release issued on Monday. The governments of Karnataka, Delhi and Tamil Nadu have extended the lockdown till June 7. West Bengal has extended it till June 15.

Maharashtra was the first state in the country to impose lockdown-like restrictions on April 22 amid the second wave of Covid. Maharashtra has extended the restrictions till June 15. The airline said in a statement that all AirAsia India customers, who had booked their flight tickets in these states prior to the announcement of the lockdown, can choose to cancel or change their flight tickets without any conversion charges or cancellation charges.

AirAsia India said in a statement that this facility for flights to and from Telangana has been extended till June.
