As we can see that due to second wave of covid0-19 is making people suffer in an unimaginable way, It has been a challenging job to protect animals and wildlife in such an difficult situation.

Although there has been very less or we can say a negligible cases has come into light of human to animal transmission, but we cannot say that it’s impossible especially now when some new variant of covid-19 emerges almost every day.

Keeping that in mind orders have been issued to keep all sanctuaries and park shut till the further notice to shield animals from grip of this deadly virus.

It has been to noted that since the vaccination has been started there is sense of relief among people but there are also cases of resistance among people with respect to vaccination.

Like In rural areas where this national parks and sanctuaries are situated people can be seen to show reluctance towards vaccination drive. In fact in many villages people are not even taking rapid or RT PCR tests thereby many cases are left unreported.

Even forest staff is not completely vaccinated which increases the risk of virus furthermore times.

Now as the situation in the country so critical with regards to Covid-19 pandemic this is an essential step to protect animals from the grip of this deadly Corona virus pandemic.
