Kalimpong is a virgin hill station in West Bengal renowned for its panoramic valley views, Buddhists monasteries and churches and Tibetan handicrafts etc. Kalimpong is located at an altitude of 4,100ft. Because of its relatively lower altitude compared to Darjeeling or Gangtok, the weather is milder and pleasant for most part of the year. And therefore it suits all tourists who are looking for such pleasant weather combined with magnificent views of Kanchenjunga and other Himalayan snow peaks, sweeping landscapes and lush greenery.
Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. The name meaning hill-top, Gangtok can be safely said to be one of the most beautiful hill stations in the country. Gangtok is a breathing and dynamic bit of paradise of the northeast. It has an amazing view of mount Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain peak in the world. • Tsomgo Lake :- Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake is a glacial lake in Sikkim and located at an altitude of 12,310 feet. The name Tsomgo means 'Source of water'. The lake becomes doubly attractive with the reflections of the surrounding hills on the water.
• Baba Mandir :- Located between Nathula and Jelepla pass at an altitude of 13,123 ft Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple is popularly known as Baba Mandir. This “mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army. He died near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim, India.
